This song Boggie Bear was from 1959 and Boyd no longer had the Rockets as his back up band. My father, Roy McCarty played lead guitar with Boyd for several years. I have the professional studio pictures as proof. They played a local T.V. show on Saturday in Evansville, Indiana then took that show to Louisville, Kentucky in the same sock hop format. They also had a week Monday through Friday evening more contemporary Thirty minutes show that targeted adults.
