Packed up an left me
Didn’t even tell me the reason why
Whoa, you packed up an left me
Didn’t even tell me the reason why
Well, if I didn’t please ya, baby
Ain’t because I didn’t try
Well, it was long about midnight
When I heard that old lonesome Cannonball
Well, it was long about midnight
When I heard that old lonesome Cannonball
Well, when I think about ya, baby
Tears begin to fall

I’ve gotta find you, baby
If it takes my whole life
To track you down
I’ve gotta find you, baby
If it takes my whole life
To track you down
Well, if I don’t find you by plane

Man, I love Freddy King! Just an excellent, all-around blues & rock musician...he could sing and he could sure make that guitar sing, too. I think I was about 9 when this record hit the AM airwaves, but I was already "awake" and already knowing when I was hearing GOOD music, and man, this was the good stuff! Thank you for posting this for us all to enjoy once again. And God bless you, Mr. King; thanks for sharing your life, your heart and your soul with us...you were for sure one of the best!
Never saw Freddie live however I have heard other contemporary artists play while "under the influence" of Mr. King. Timeless and Classic blues- Mortz in London
