Music will never sound as good as this, the great blues shouters are gone and the up and coming generation are not interested in this type of music , actual they see it as old and stale..Gradual music is changing for the worse. The blues is an ssential component of jazz.

Great singer I saw with the Basie band in the UK c.1960. Brilliant band singer. He transformed the whole band from a pedestrian shower in first half into a really swinging outfit in the second half when he came on and started singing. Wonderful performance by Rushing.
