IMO this version sounds a lot like Chloe Song of the Swamp.

Great, great beginning to what I would call a torch song. Good dance music. Tks

What makes this brilliant is Bubber Miley on trumpet and the mysterious vocals. When he toured with Reisman they made Miley, the only black man in the band, wear an ushers uniform or play hidden behind a screen.

You have GREAT TASTE in music! I just love this rendition! Now I feel like dancing!
