The initial keyboard sound is classic DM, but then the plunky guitars are straight from the New Order playbook (and The Cure at times). The synth strings could be any of those three, as they all used the Yamaha DX-7, which was all the rage then. BUT...am I the only one who hears ABBA in the chorus??? :-)
