I can’t remember my name
I can’t remember my mother’s face
I can’t remember why I’m here
On the streets, trying to find my way
It is not always dark
Sometimes the light shines on my world of darkness
Perhaps of a coin, perhaps of a smile
But all leaves after some time
Then comes the darkness to take me to my horror show
It means to fight for your life
So that it means something at all?
As life unfolds a lie, I saw faces of madness all alike
Some broken, some lost
They all hid their hearts, behind a wall of dark
Through a life of holes, I lived a curse on the world beyond these walls
I had my hopes when it was still dawn
Through a lie of hopes, I lived a curse on the world beyond these walls
I had my holes, now they are all closed
