Correct me if I am wrong but from my understanding the main chorus of this song translates to "no matter how bad today is, tomorrow is another day" . Her dancing around the obstacles is symbolic to going around (or dancing around) real life obstacles. Great song, one of my favorite from Rokia. I envy those who have seen her perform live.
To really enjoy this song you must understand Bambara very well. One cannot understand its meaning from a denotative perspective but rather from a connotative and mande philosophical one.
First heard this song like 5 years ago on the local public broadcasting channel, and its been in my head ever since. Amazing artist! And Im only 22 so I hope that adds some credit to my music tastes as a 17yr old hehe
