I liked this psy sound when it first came out on the free party scene around 20 years ago. At the time it was so fresh, unique and underground. I applaud the relative commercial success of the likes of Infected Mushroom, Astrix and Astral Projection but like true pure trance, this is predominantly a more underground genre.I’m not anti merging of genres or sounds but for some reason can’t get into this fad of merging purer trance with psy or using Psy sounds with a more classic trance arrangement
