I used to live upon a lotus flower the rain fell down on me, my leaves were in harmony with the rain, the warm air lifted my petals, the sun smiled upon me. I have been in heaven surrounded my the angels. MURAD

This song makes me think of all of the soldiers, that deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq, from the 101st Airborne Division. Not everyone was a warrior; some were students looking for college money; some were individuals that wanted a better life for their families; some were just looking for a better path in life; and some were lifelong soldiers that knew where their place was, in this life. While everyone knew what could happen, none thought of what was actually going to happen. However, no matter what brought them to the 101st, they all did their duty. Some never came home; some left; while some got home and left a piece of them over there.

This one is so spiritual.... The Spirit of Victory through all trials and adversity. I love it.

Days ago, I still felt grief and nostalgia thinking of good friends who pased... and this song played on and I finally cried and felt better afterwards.
