A truly amazing story behind this cut. Hughie Tomasson of the Outlaws had written some lyrics with Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd at some point in the middle 70s. Hughie had the lyrics that Ronnie had penned on a bar napkin. Flash forward 20 years and Hughie rediscovers the song buried in a drawer. Hughie writes the music and brings Gary Rossington and Billy Powell to give it that Skynyrd feel. The results BLEED a Ronnie VanZant classic . RIP Hughie, Ronnie and Billy
