Boy, it does my heart good to hear this song again. How many times have I listened to it at everything from sock hops to the beach. When I was a teenager growing up in Ohio all I wanted to do was get to California. I did eventually make it and would up living here for the last 40 years. And all of my kids have been California boys and girls.
